Visual Kanban-style project management tool known for its simplicity and ease of use. Ideal for small teams and personal task management with drag-and-drop card-based workflow.
Our take
Trello is the gold standard for simplicity in project management. If your workflow fits neatly into boards, lists, and cards, nothing else comes close to its ease of use. The free tier is generous enough for most small teams, and the drag-and-drop interface requires zero training. The downside is that Trello's simplicity is also its ceiling — once you need Gantt charts, resource management, or complex reporting, you'll either need Premium or a different tool entirely. Power-Ups extend functionality but can create a fragmented experience. Best for small teams, personal productivity, and anyone who wants project management without the overhead.
